Yearly Check Ins

Please note this is a multi part survey the first section is about You, the second section is all about TLC as a whole! We will be using this to help our in person check-ins more for reviewing and collaborating.
Survey are Due no later than February 23rd!

2024 Professional Development Plan (All About You!)

Fill out this form as it will guide our in person check ins, you can submit it more than once so feel free to come back to it if you want to add more or if you want to break it down into different days.
Share your goals for yourself they might be to work on the next level of education, it might be to find a better work/life balance. it can even be your (hopefully distant) long term goals to move on to a related field or position.
This could be any training areas you'd like to see, any areas of growth you want to target. Could be anything from communicating better with families to being more intentional in the classroom, so many ways to grow it's going to be hard to narrow it down so feel free to throw them all here!
This is a chance to share areas of improvement for the program, this can be things you would like to see taken on or things we still need to work on.

Start STOP Continue (All About TLC!)

Your opinions, insights and concerns, as staff of The Learning Center, are very valuable! We want to hear how satisfying and valued you believe your work is, how those in our care needs are met, and those of their families. Most of all we know that happy teachers mean happy children! We will look for patterns in responses that can assist us in better meeting your needs. Please feel comfortable in leaving your comments, negative or positive. If you have suggestions on how we can best respond to a concern, please note that as well. We appreciate your dedication, and look forward to better meeting your needs in the future. It is not necessary to include your name anywhere on this survey.

Please use the START, STOP, and CONTINUE format to share your thoughts. Also use the comment box at the bottom for anything additional that you don't feel fits into the SSC format. Thank you!
START: The best place to begin is, of course, the Start bucket. What ideas do you have that would help benefit your center, other TLC centers, the team, the organization? Now’s the time to chart a fresh course in areas in which you see new opportunities!
STOP: What needs to stop? Is there something that consumes a lot of your time for very little return or reward? Spotting activities that distract you from your core purpose and then eliminating them can be like a breath of fresh air. If you find that a process needs to change or that a particular aspect of how you do something causes an inordinate amount of stress, put it here! Even if you enjoy a particular activity or initiative, but feel that it has run its course. Being able to stop something allows you to make room for other worthy pursuits. Just remember though that if you want to stop something, you need to consider whom else in the organization your decision may affect.
CONTINUE: Have you heard the old saying, “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it”? Consider the Continue phase as a time to recognize and evaluate which activities/policies that should continue. Identify the things that you believe are positively contributing to the success of TLC .
